<br /> <br /> <br />Hawaii County Stakeholders Meeting for <br />Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) <br />Hawaii Unified State Plan 2020-2023 <br />Thursday, October 17, 2019, 12:30pm - 4:30pm <br />1990 Kinoole Street, Hilo - Conference Room <br />NOTES <br /> <br />I. Introduction <br />(12:31pm start) <br />Martha Ross, Workforce Development Council (WDC) Consultant to Facilitate and Coordinate the Hawaii WIOA <br />Unified State Plan 2020-2023 (July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2024) introduced self, Nicole Brodie –Recorder, and the <br />purpose of the stakeholders meeting to gather input for the Hawaii WIOA Unified State Plan 2020-2023 from <br />each county. Stakeholders are the experts for the county, and input very important to the WIOA state plan, <br />because after the state plan is approved by U.S. Secretary of Labor, the local workforce development boards will <br />receive guidance and must submit their plans to align with the state plan.
