Supplementary Proclamation? <br />• Lifts the quarantine requirement for inter -island travelers effective 12:01 a.m. on June <br />16, 2020. <br />• Leaves in place the quarantine requirement for out-of-state travelers. Further clarifies, <br />Section WA — Traveling to the State - Persons who require paid or commercial lodging <br />while subject to the mandatory self -quarantining shall designate a hotel or motel as their <br />designated quarantine location. <br />• Provides for criminal liability for hosts of guests who violate quarantine requirements. <br />What are the main Ipoints ofMayor's COVIIID 19 Emergency Rule No.. 8? <br />• Bed & Breakfast, vacation rentals and timeshares can re -open on Monday, June 15, <br />2020 to guests who are not required to quarantine at a hotel or motel. <br />• STVRs can also rent long-term beginning June 15, 2020. If you have a STVR permit <br />with a nonconforming use certificate there is a time limit for renting long term before <br />losing your nonconforming status forever. <br />• The Governor's mandatory quarantine for inter -island travelers is still in place on <br />Monday, June 15, 2020. Any inter -island guest arriving and checking in on Monday will <br />be under a mandatory quarantine order.
