State projects are required to comply with <br />44CFR regulations as stipulated in Section 60.12. Be advised that 44CFR reflects the <br />minimum standards as set forth by the NFIP. Local community flood ordinances may <br />stipulate higher standards that can be more restrictive and would take precedence over the <br />minimum NFIP standards. <br />The owner of the project property and/or their representative is responsible to research <br />the Flood Hazard Zone designation for the project.
