...%iN <br /> ."os , , <br /> • <br /> • 1 <br /> •� ''�'\� r:• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII : . � '- . <br /> TE OF MF'1 - <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 706 20 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br /> INTO A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH THE OFFICE OF THE <br /> AUDITOR, STATE OF HAWAII <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Finance wishes to enter into a multi-year <br /> agreement for three (3) years with the Office of the Auditor, State of Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement will allow the County to request that the Office of the <br /> Auditor, State of Hawaii, to conduct an audit of the schedule of changes in fiduciary net <br /> position by employer and related notes to the schedule of the Hawaii Employer-Union <br /> Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF) and examination report on census data in order to <br /> meet the reporting requirements under Governmental Accounting Standards board <br /> (GASB) Statement No. 75; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal <br /> year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 46-7, requires that County <br /> departments obtain the consent of the council to enter into agreements with the federal <br /> or state governments respecting action to be taken pursuant to any of the powers <br /> granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other assistance in <br /> connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers; now, <br /> therefore, <br />
