'Mtn • <br /> .'OJT, -,_••.,If, . <br /> ��; :!ice • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII * =�� / *I STATE OF HAWAII <br /> �TE•Of•Hf'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 713 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE WREATHS FOR THE WEST <br /> HAWAII VETERANS CEMETERY-PU`U HO`OMAHA 0 NA PO`E KOA 0 HAWAII <br /> KOMOHANA FOR THE NATIONAL WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA DAY. <br /> WHEREAS, the mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember the fallen, honor <br /> their service, and to teach the value of freedom by coordinating the laying of wreaths at veterans <br /> cemeteries across the United States on December 19, 2020; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has requested funds to purchase <br /> wreaths for the West Hawai`i Veterans Cemetery-Pu`u Ho`omaha 0 Na Po`e Koa 0 Hawai`i <br /> Komohana(West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery) for the National Wreaths Across America Day; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Kona Composite Squadron of the Hawai`i Wing Civil Air Patrol will <br /> assist with laying wreaths at the West Hawai`i Veterans Cemetery to honor veterans during the <br /> National Wreaths Across America Day; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to provide wreaths for the West Hawai`i Veterans Cemetery for the <br /> National Wreaths Across America Day. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $1,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5503.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,000 <br /> P&R Admin OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
