No. 702-20 <br /> PLACE: Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit, to which was referred Resolution No. 702-20, <br /> reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 702-20, introduced by Committee Chair Susan L.K. Lee Loy at the request of the <br /> Administration, and transmitted via Communication No. 1023 by Deputy Corporation Counsel <br /> Danny B. Patel dated July 28, 2020, accepts the dedication of roadway lots A, B, and C for Kona Vista <br /> Subdivision, Unit 4. The subject parcel is located at Tax Map Key No. (3) 7-6-027:105, situated at <br /> Flolualoa 1 and 2, District of North Kona. The landowner KV3 LLC wishes to dedicate the parcel to the <br /> County and all improvements thereon to the County for roadway purposes. <br /> Chair Lee Loy noted supportive letters attached to the transmittal communication from the Department <br /> of Public Works, the Planning Department, the Department of Environmental Management, and the <br /> Department of Water Supply. <br /> Committee member Rebecca Villegas had some questions about the background of this resolution and <br /> noted community concerns about future development in the area.
