HKI Kawili LLC proposes to build 91 affordable housing <br />units and designate one as a manager's residence. <br />The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) has worked with HKI Kawili <br />LLC to implement HRS Section 201H-38, in conjunction with HRS Section 46-15.1. This law <br />allows the County of Hawaii to facilitate the development of affordable housing by exempting <br />eligible developments from certain code requirements not related to health and safety. <br />HKI Kawili LLC seeks certain exemptions from code requirements and conditions of Ordinance <br />No. 07-26. These proposed exemptions, which have been reviewed by all County as well as <br />affected State agencies, would promote the goals contained in HRS Section 20111-38 and <br />Chapter 11 of the Hawai `i County Code. <br />4 Res. -I 33- -,-)"o <br />8352dncc <br />Comm.
