BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL, SHEETS AS NEEDED* <br />The position has been temporary for over -1 -year, and the department has realized: the third Account Clerk is <br />needed on a more permanent basis.. Had originally requested to. change the s - tat . us. of . this position fromI <br />"temporary" to"permanent" in the; FY2020-21 budget request, but -due to COVID, no position changes were <br />made.. <br />After two attempts to fill it by -applicants: interested: in a temporary position, all applicantswho responded for <br />interviews were rejected based on interview questions .and assessments scores.
