No. 738-20 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:03 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 738-20, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 738-20, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 1086 <br /> dated September 18, 2020, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one <br /> fiscal year for a multi-year lease of one electrician utility vehicle for the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation. <br /> This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an approximate <br /> monthly cost of$1,366. The County would own the equipment at the end of the lease. <br /> A motion to move Resolution No. 738-20 to Council with a positive recommendation was made by <br /> Council Member Rebecca Villegas, and seconded by Council Member Susan L. K. Lee Loy. <br /> Parks and Recreation Business Manager Reid Sewake addressed Your Committee, stating that the <br /> electrician utility vehicle is necessary for their departmental electricians to perform required services <br /> island-wide.
