+tV Of p, <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI `I STATE OF HAWAI `I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26 21 <br />A. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br />DONATION OF PUNALU`U SWEET BREAD TO THE COUNTY OF <br />HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION <br />WHEREAS, AIO is donating 4,000 loaves of Punalu`u sweet bread to the County of <br />Hawaii Department of Parks & Recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, the sweet bread, valued at approximately $30,534, will be distributed to <br />seniors through the Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division's programs island wide; <br />arlA <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br />council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br />personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br />donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in <br />accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br />Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br />resolution be sent to AIO, Duane Kurisu, Owner, 1000 Bishop Street, Suite 202, Honolulu, HI <br />96813, acknowledging this generous donation. <br />
