Kamanu Street (Road 3A - Kona CDP) from University Drive <br /> (Road 2) to Ka'iminani Drive: <br /> The applicant shall construct the mauka half-section of a 120-foot <br /> wide right-of-way to County[-]dedicable standards as a two-lane <br /> road. The applicant shall construct the intersection at Ka`iminani <br /> Drive meeting with the approval of the Department of Public <br /> Works. The intersection shall include a left-turn lane on <br /> Ka`iminani Drive. The intersections at the northern and southern <br /> end of this road shall have illumination. This road shall also be <br /> provided with a utility trench suitable for installation of future <br /> street lights by the Department of Public Works or the State <br /> Department of Transportation when such illumination is <br /> determined to be necessary. The construction of this roadway shall <br /> be completed simultaneous to the opening of the first building on <br /> the State land for the University of Hawaii or before July 31, <br /> 2012, whichever occurs first. Further, traffic signals shall be <br /> installed at the intersection of Ka`iminani Drive and Ane <br /> Keohokalole Highway prior to the issuance of building permits for <br /> more than five hundred (500) single-family residential lots and/or <br /> multiple-family residential units, and prior to the issuance of an <br /> occupancy permit for more than thirty thousand(30,000) square <br /> feet of commercial area and more than sixty(60) hotel units; or <br /> whenever the Department of Public Works reasonably determines <br /> it is warranted. <br /> Amended Condition V3: <br /> V. The applicant shall construct the following roads and improvements <br /> within and outside of its property as identified in the Hawaii County <br /> General Plan and the Kona Community Development Plan(CDP) Official <br /> Concurrency Map, Figure 4-3, adopted as Ordinance No. 08 131 effective <br /> September 25, 2008: <br /> 3. Ane Keohokalole Highway(Road [64] 3A- Kona CDP and Road <br /> 3A of Applicant's Master Plan, Exhibit A-5): <br /> The portion of Ane Keohokalole Highway [(-6)] (Road 3A- Kona <br /> CDP Map and Road 3A of Applicant's Master Plan, Exhibit A-5) <br /> within the property shall have a right-of-way width of 120 feet. <br /> The applicant shall construct a half-section, two-lane road, within <br /> this 120-foot right-of-way to County-dedicable standards.
