Roth dated December 30, 2020, nominates <br /> Gabriella Cabanas to the Merit Appeals Board. <br /> Ms. P6maika`i Bartalome, Executive Assistant to Mayor Roth, introduced Ms. Cabanas. Ms. Cabanas <br /> retired from Hawaii County's Department of Human Resources after over 37 years of service <br /> overseeing the administration of the Recruitment and Examination Division. She currently belongs to <br /> the Zonta Club of Hilo and is a graduate of University of Hawaii at Hilo. <br /> Ms. Cabanas stated that it would be an honor to serve on the Merit Appeals Board and elaborated on her <br /> devotion to transparency and fairness during her years of service.
