REQUEST: <br /> A resolution creating a new Planner V position, full time, for the Department of Environmental Management. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Department is requesting a Planner V, full time, position to be created to assist the Department in <br /> identifying areas of growth and development and laying out master plans for sewer collection systems, <br /> wastewater treatment plants, and Solid Waste facilities island wide. <br /> One of the responsibilities of this position will be to oversee the Comprehensive Programmatic <br /> Environmental Impact Study for the Pupa Wastewater Statement project. This project is being funded by a <br /> grant from the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA).
