With already 15 land acquisitions totaling 6,752.6093 acres, the <br /> County holds in perpetuity a total of over 6,766.2029 acres for agricultural and conservation <br /> use, protection of our natural resources, endangered species, and wildlife, including buffer <br /> zones: and for native traditions and cultural practices. <br /> SUMMARY OF AUTHORIZED LAND ACQUISITIONS <br />-- Through prior resolutions, the County Council has authorized the Finance Director to <br /> enter into land negotiations to acquire the most recent parcels with resolutions approved by <br /> the County Council is summarized below: <br /> Resol.
