BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Office of the Mayor submit or identify <br />appropriate County agencies to submit testimony in support of State legislation that advances <br />digital connectivity and equity, such as House Bills 615, 616, and 810 and Senate Bills 909, 914 <br />and 917. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Hawaii engage with the Hawaii <br />Broadband and Digital Equity Coordination Group headed by the State Broadband Coordinator, <br />the business community, internet service providers and community organizations to develop an <br />implementation plan in alignment with the goals of the Hawaii Broadband Strategic Plan and <br />the Digital Literacy Declaration. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this <br />resolution to the Honorable Brian Schatz and the Honorable Mazie K. Hirono, United States <br />Senators; the Honorable Kaiali`i Kahele, United States Representative; members of the Hawaii <br />Island State Legislature Delegation; the Honorable David Y. Ige, Governor of the State of <br />Hawaii; the Honorable Mitchell D. Roth, Mayor; Lee E.
