Roth, via Communication No. 93, dated January 7, 2021, <br /> submitting for the Council's review and confirmation the appointment of Mr. Charles Kunz of <br /> Council District 2 to the Merit Appeals Board. <br /> Ms. Pomaika`i Bartolome, Executive Assistant to Mayor Roth, was present and spoke of <br /> Mr. Kunz's being an active community member, a lifelong Hawai`i Island resident and a <br /> dedicated public servant who gave 35 years of service leading the Workforce Development <br /> Division of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. <br /> Mr. Kunz was present online and said he was glad to be appointed by the Mayor and was looking <br /> forward to "getting started"with the Merit Appeals Board.
