COUNTY OF HAWAPI <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />So 21 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH THE PURCHASE OF A <br />REFRIGERATOR FOR THE KAWANANAKOA GYM. <br />WHEREAS,, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, plans, <br />conducts, arranges, and promotes organized recreation and athletic activities for all age groups at <br />recreation centers and facilities throughout the County of Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kawananakoa Gym is well utilized in the Keaukaha community and its <br />kitchen facility supports vital programs; and <br />WHEREAS, the COVID- 19 pandemic has resulted in financial hardship and public <br />health and safety requirements that promote social distancing, which has increased the need for <br />public community facilities to provide services to affected citizens; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase a <br />new refrigerator for the kitchen facility in the Kawananakoa Gym to replace the one that has <br />failed; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to purchase a new refrigerator for the kitchen facility in the Kawananakoa <br />Gym. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $35800 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $300 <br />X I fflli i i <br />010.500.5507.06 Department of Parks and Recreation $300 <br />Recreation Div Equip <br />480 Misc Equipment <br />(Kawananakoa Gym — refrigerator) <br />
