WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br />donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in <br />accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, and Chapter 2, <br />Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />accepts this donation. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution <br />be sent to Hawai'i Rise Foundation, 11 Silva Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, Vibrant Hawaii, 200 <br />Kanoelehua Avenue PMB 366, -Hilo, Hawaii 96720, acknowledging this generous donation, and <br />that a copy of this resolution be sent to (1) the Honorable Mitchell D.
