He is currently employed with Hawaii Department <br /> of Health and has served on the County of Hawai'i Redistricting Commission in 2001 and as <br /> Chair on the Environmental Management Commission. <br /> Mr. Pavao is the Hawai'i County Branch Chief for the Department of Health's Adult Mental <br /> Health Division. He has volunteered with HGEA and served as the Big Island Region Director <br /> for Hawai'i Pony baseball. He was a member of the Coalition for a Tobacco Free Hawai'i and <br /> President of the Board for the Hawai'i Public Health Institute. <br /> Mr. Pavao holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology and a Master's of Arts in Human Resources <br /> Development.
