........... <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 72 21 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO THE OFFICE OF THE <br /> MAYOR FOR THE HAWAII ISLAND CHEF CHALLENGE SHOW. <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Mayor is putting on the first ever Hawai`i Island Chef <br /> Challenge show in the coming months,which will include partnering local chefs with keiki <br /> between the ages of 12 and 17; and <br /> WHEREAS, starting in May, video segments for the show will be filmed at various <br /> locations around the island with the final segment shown in August featuring the finalists and <br /> Chef Sam Choy as celebrity judge; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Hawai`i Island Chef Challenge will also share stories from our local <br /> farmers, ranchers, and chefs to learn about the challenges and rewards of our agriculture, culture, <br /> and culinary arts; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Office of the Mayor is requesting funds to assist with expenses <br /> associated with coordinating and filming of the Hawai`i Island Chef Challenge show; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Office of the Mayor <br /> to provide funds for the Hawai`i Island Chef Challenge show. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
