REQUEST: <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years for a digital <br /> postage meter for the Office of the Corporation Counsel. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The current postage meter is outdated and is obsolete. The original lease period on the existing postage <br /> meter will expire on 03/29/2021 and it i5 more pratical to lease a new postage meter than to continue leasing <br /> an outdate postage meter. The postage meter is used on a daily basis by the office staff to mail items out. <br /> The postage meter will be leased for a period of 5 years. The estimated monthly cost for the lease is $50.00 <br /> per month.
