COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />J+S1 OF <br />•?�rE'us•N'�► <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />11S 2i <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE 2021 SUMMER FUN PROGRAM AT THE <br />KEKUAOKALANI GYM. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation's 2021 Summer Fun Program at <br />the Kekuaokalani Gym, located in Kailua, provides arts -and -crafts activities, indoor/outdoor <br />games, sports, music, dance, nature exploration, swimming, special events, and excursions for <br />elementary students during the summer break; and <br />WHEREAS, funds are needed to assist low-income families in the North Kona district to <br />ensure an affordable opportunity for their children to participate in the 2021 Summer Fun <br />Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting Contingency Relief <br />funds to offset the out-of-pocket costs per child for registration fees, transportation, and/or other <br />activities for its 2021 Summer Fun Program at Kekuaokalani Gym; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation for its 2021 Summer Fun Program at Kekuaokalani Gym. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $5,000 <br />CREDITED TO: Department of Parks and Recreation <br />010.500.5509.25 Summer/Intercession $5,000 <br />341 Misc. Charges <br />(Kekuaokalani Gym - 2021 Summer Fun Program) <br />
