Exhibit A Page VIII
The miscellaneous contract services account in Recycling Programs reflect an
increase of services for household hazardous waste and non-vehicular scrap metal.
Expenditure projections for the glass recycling and beverage container deposit
programs were increased to reflect new grant-award commitments from the State.
HOUSING FUND
REVENUE:
Revenues reflect an increase in the Foster Youth Into Independence grant and the
addition of a private contribution grant for the Cities of Financial Empowerment
program.
EXPENDITURES:
Regular S&W was increased to reflect changes in budgeted salaries due to the
movement of personnel, and the addition of a new Housing and Community
Development Specialist IV. To accommodate the S&W updates, associated
updates were made to health benefits, FICA and ERS accounts.
The repairs to facilities account was increased and the total miscellaneous contract
services account was decreased with a combination of an increase to tree trimming
and outreach planning expenditures, but a decrease to the County landlord
incentive program. The subscription and membership account was also decreased.
A new miscellaneous contract account was added for the new Cities of Financial
Empowerment program.
