Real property tax penalties revenue <br /> is expected to exceed the amount budgeted for FY 2020-21, requiring additional funds be <br /> appropriated into the PONC and PONC Maintenance transfer accounts in order to <br /> maintain compliance. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an Ordinance amending the Operating Budget by increasing <br /> appropriations of$150,000 to the Transfer to Public Access/Open Space, and Natural <br /> Resources Preservation Fund, and $18,750 to the Transfer to Public Access/Open Space, <br /> and Natural Resources Preservation Maintenance Fund. <br /> In order to ensure that the transfer is completed by the deadline as required by the County <br /> Charter, we are requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and <br /> placed on the May 19, 2021 Council Agenda.
