These funds will be used to develop an emergency food plan <br /> for the County of Hawai`i. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating <br /> $50,000 into the Civil Defense Agency's 2020 EMPG Pgm COVID-19 Supplemental <br /> account. <br /> The Civil Defense Agency requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee <br /> and be placed on the June 2, 2021 Council agenda and that the five-day hold for <br /> reconsideration period also be waived in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
