These funds will be used by the <br /> Office of Housing and Community Development OHCD) for the purpose of <br /> implementing a landlord mediation program to eligible households that are impacted by <br /> the expiration of the moratorium on evictions. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed <br /> is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $600,000 <br /> grant. The OHCD respectfully requests that a breach be authorized to submit this <br /> resolution and bill after the June 17, 2021 submission deadline, and that they be waived <br /> from the Finance Committee to be placed on the July 7, 2021 Council agenda in order to <br /> expedite the receipt of these funds.
