shows the land specially benefited and the total assessable area of the proposed Improvement <br /> District. <br /> IV <br /> DESCRIPTION OF EWROVEMEENTS/PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> The special improvements to be made consist of a sewer line extension and related <br /> improvements to connect PETITIONER'S Project as well as the Hawaii Island Community <br /> Development Corporation's Kaloko Heights Affordable Housing project,extending west within <br /> the existing rights of way of Hina Lani Street and Ane Keohokalole Highway to the existing <br /> sewer line within the Ane Keokahole Highway fronting the West Hawaii Civic Center. <br /> The sewer line extension will be an all gravity system located within the existing rights- <br /> of-way of Hina Lani Street and Ane Keohokalole Highway. The sewer line improvements will <br /> consist of approximately 12,115 linear feet of an 8-inch to 12-inch polyvinyl chloride(PVC) <br /> sewer pipe, 39 sewer manholes and 10 laterals to properties adjacent to Hina Lani Street and <br /> Ane Keohokalole Highway along the project area. The sewer improvements have been <br /> designed to accommodate the wastewater needs of PETITIONER'S Project,the Kaloko <br /> Heights Affordable Housing Project,and the properties adjacent to the sewer line extension <br /> based on the existing zoning. <br /> Construction plans and specifications for the sewer line extension and related <br /> improvements,prepared by Nancy E. Bums,P.E.,LLC,are currently under review by the <br /> County of Hawaii Department of Environmental Management,the Department of Public Works <br /> and the Department of Water Supply. <br /> 4 <br />
