No. 314/Bill No. 52 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:30 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Bill No. 52, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 52, submitted by Mayor Mitchell D. Roth dated June 17, 2021, to amend the State Land <br /> Use Boundaries maps for the County of Hawai`i by changing the district classification from the <br /> Agricultural District to the Urban District at Kalaoa 5th,North Kona, Hawai`i covered by Tax <br /> Map Key: 7-3-005:015. The surrounding properties of the subject property are zoned as Urban <br /> District classification. The applicants are Timothy Joseph Ward and Kay Lynn Ward. The <br /> Leeward Planning Commission forwards its favorable recommendation for this amendment to <br /> the State Land Use Boundaries Maps. The property is located at 73-4350 Hawaii Belt Road, <br /> South of its intersection with Kaiminani Drive. <br /> Bill No. 52 was postponed on July 20, 2021, for Committee Member Holeka Inaba to further <br /> engage with the applicants.
