PC-28 Page 2 August 18,2021
Mr. Chung asked about more specifics on the roadway parking, where it will be located, and how
residents of the subdivision would access their lots. The applicant, Hank Correa III, was present
via Zoom to explain that parking will be made available opposite to the Life Care Center, and
that there will be further discussion with the Department of Public Works on accommodating
driveways affected by the roadway parking.
Public Works Director Ikaika Rodenhurst was present in Kona Chambers and shared that the
Department is supportive of the project and will continue to work with the applicants.
The vote was then taken on the motion to move this measure to Council with a favorable
recommendation and passed with 9 "ayes."
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 57, as amended
to Draft 3, and recommends its passage on first reading.
js
AYES NOES ABS EX Respectfully Submitted,
CHUNG X
DAVID X COMMITTEE ON PLANNING
INABA X
KANEALI`I-KLEINFELDER X
KIERKIEWICZ X
KIMBALL X
LEE LOY x AS EY L.
