which is parked and stationary for any 24-hour period, and is <br /> used for business or living purposes; provided, however, that the <br /> term shall not include a push cart or push wagon which is readily <br /> movable and which does not exceed 25 square feet in area, nor <br /> shall the term include a trailer or vehicle, used exclusively for the <br /> purpose of selling any commercial product therefrom, which hold <br /> a vehicle license and actually travels on public or private streets. <br /> To the extent context otherwise permits and/or requires, the <br /> definitions of"building" as used in the following chapters of the <br /> Hawai`i County Code: 5A, the building code; 5B, the residential <br /> building code; 5C, the existing building code; 5D, the electrical <br /> code; 5E, the energy conservation code; and 5F, the plumbing <br /> code; are incorporated by reference herein." <br /> "BUILDING OFFICIAL.[The officer or other designated authority <br /> a duly authorized representative. AWC Wood Frame Construction Manual (WFCM) 2018. <br /> 2. AISI Standard for Cold-Formed Steel Framing—Prescriptive Method for <br /> One- and Two-Family Dwellings (AISI 5230 - 2015). <br /> 3. [ICC Standard on the Design and Construction of Log Structures (ICC <br /> 100).] ICC Standard for Residential Construction in High-Wind Regions <br /> (ICC 600-14)." <br /> (6) Subsection R301.1.3, "Engineered design," of the International Residential Code is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "R301.1.3 Engineered design. When a building of otherwise conventional <br /> construction contains structural elements exceeding the limits of Section R301 or <br /> otherwise not conforming to this code, these elements shall be designed in <br /> accordance with accepted engineering practice using the Alternative Provisions <br /> listed in R301.1.1. The extent of such design need only demonstrate compliance <br /> of nonconventional elements with other applicable provisions and shall be <br /> compatible with the performance of the conventional framed system.
