BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED)• <br /> Resolution 156-19, approved on May 8, 2019, authorized the Office of the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br /> with the Department of Defense, State of Hawaii, pursuant to HRS 46-7, for a grant to the County for the <br /> "Integration of Climate Change Adaptation Plan into the 5-year update of the Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan to <br /> identify climate change impacts and develop mitigation measures, action priorities, and an implementation <br /> plan. <br /> The grant(HMGP DR-4366-06-13P)was approved on June 28, 2021. The total project cost is $100,000 <br /> with $75,000 Federal share with a County match of$25,000. <br /> The project will identify climate change impacts and develop mitigation measures, action priorities, and an <br /> implementation plan.
