REQUEST: <br /> Prepare a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into 3 agreements with the Hawaii Emergency <br /> Management Agency (HI-EMA) regarding the Mana Road Fire for the Department of Finance, Fire and <br /> Public Works. <br /> Prepare an ordinance to appropriate $1,000,000 in federal monies (75%). The 25% County Match will come <br /> from existing operational accounts. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> As a result of the Mana Road Fire with an incident period of August 1-3, 2021, the County applied for and <br /> qualified to receive federal financial assistance under the Federal Emergency Management Agency's <br /> (FEMA) Fire Management Assistance Grant Program (FMAG).
