COUNTY OF HAWAIII STA'T'E OF HAWAIsI <br /> 3 <br /> +re•�N�M�i•!\\ <br /> �Tf OF•M�'� <br /> SOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHO ZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF ANIMAL CONTROL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT <br /> O THE COUNTY OF HAWAII POLICE DEPARTMENT, <br /> WHEREAS, the Greater Good Charities is donating various animal control supplies <br /> and equipment to the County of Hawaii Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS,the supplies and equipment, valued at approximately $55,000, will be <br /> utilized by the Police Department for Animal Control Services; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts the donation of this Live Find Tracking K9 with K9 and handler training. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br /> resolution be sent to Greater Good Charities, c/o Denise Bash, 4 � ,c tis .ct }kc sic rt........................ µ <br />
