V0 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •_ STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ,rf"OF"N►� <br /> SOLUTION NO. 243 21 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF <br /> DONATION OF TWENTY (20) LAPTOPS TO THE OFFICE OF <br /> HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, Vibrant Hawaii together with Hawaii Rise Foundation is <br /> donating twenty (20) laptops to Office of Housing and Community Development <br /> (OHCD); and <br /> WHEREAS, the laptops, valued at approximately $ 11,185.34, will be used <br /> for distance-learning by the children who reside at Na Kahua Hale o Ulu Wini; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article X111, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides <br /> that the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the OHCD recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the <br /> County of Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
