These <br /> funds will be used to execute emergency response and protective measures for the health <br /> and safety of the general public. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed <br /> is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating FEMA <br /> COVID-19 grant funds in the amount of$3,250,000. <br /> We respectfully request that a breach be authorized to submit this resolution after the <br /> October 1, 2021 submission deadline, and to waive it from the Finance Committee in <br /> order to be placed on the October 20, 2021 Council agenda.
