BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that metropolitan planning organizations will <br /> provide the County access to certain federal funding around continuous and comprehensive <br /> transportation and mobility planning which will require cooperation with the County <br /> Department of Finance, Department of Public Works, Department of Planning, Mass Transit <br /> Agency, and the State of Hawai`i Department of Transportation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that should Hawai`i Island be deemed eligible, the <br /> Hawai`i State Legislature is urged to provide funding support to for the Department of <br /> Planning to conduct a feasibility study. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Planning shall provide a <br /> progress report on the development of a feasibility study to the County Council six months <br /> after notification of eligibility is received. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this <br /> resolution to the Honorable Dru Kanuha, Hawai'i State Senator; the Honorable Mitchell D. <br /> Roth, Mayor; Lee E.
