She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in the Business Information Systems from <br /> the University of Phoenix. <br /> Ms. Wakat is an avid ocean protector and dedicated and passionate volunteer with several <br /> organizations, including Kahalu`u Bay Education Center's Reef Teach, Ocean defenders <br /> Alliance, and Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, who care for our coastlines through fun, hands-on <br /> beach cleanups and underwater debris dives.
