A scientist at heart,he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in <br /> Environmental Sciences. Previously, he served on both the local Environmental Commission <br /> and the Planning and Zoning Commission on the mainland. <br /> Mr. Konowicz is a business owner, meteorologist, and journalist, with the skills to study and <br /> investigate the organizations and methods of operation of the county government to determine <br /> what changes, if any,may be desirable. He is an active volunteer at World Vision, the American <br /> Cancer Society, and the National MS Society.
