He is <br /> currently employed by Paradise Helicopters as a Pilot, and Director of Safety/Operations, and is <br /> a Balefire Safety Solution Safety Auditor. <br /> Mr. Malakie holds a Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical <br /> University, and earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration. He currently volunteers <br /> his time and expertise on the Kona General Aviation Committee and the Helicopter Association <br /> Safety Working Group.
