This proposed amendment would change the originating <br /> entity for item No. 4, relating to lifeguards, from the County of Maui to the HSAC Executive <br /> Committee. Attached is the letter from HSAC incorporating the change, which will replace the <br /> HSAC cover letter in Exhibit A when transmitted with Resolution No. 263-21, Draft 3, upon <br /> approval of this amendment. <br /> The proposed amendments are shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of <br /> Resolution No. 263-21, Draft 2; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to <br /> be added is underscored. <br /> 1. The first WHEREAS clause of Resolution No. 263-21, Draft 2, is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "WHEREAS, at its meeting on October 26, 2021, the Hawaii State Association of <br /> Counties (HSAC) Executive Committee approved for inclusion in the HSAC Legislative <br /> Package [fear] three proposals from the County of Maui, one proposal from the City and <br /> County of Honolulu, [two] three proposals from the HSAC Executive Committee, and one <br /> proposal from the County of Hawaii; and" <br /> Comm.
