Roth, dated November 18, 2021, <br /> submitting for the Council's review and confirmation the nomination of Claude S. Onizuka of <br /> Council District 7 to the Liquor Commission. <br /> Executive Assistant Pomaika`i Bartolome appeared in Hilo Chambers and introduced the nominee <br /> who appeared from the Kona Council Office. <br /> Several Council Members commented in favor of the nominee's appointment. Chair Inaba <br /> informed the nominee that final confirmation at full Council will be on December 22, 2021 in <br /> Kona. <br /> Pursuant to Sections 7-3.2 and 13-4 of the Hawaii County Charter, members of the Liquor <br /> Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council. <br /> Your Committee on Parks and Recreation and Public Safety is in accord with the purpose and intent <br /> of Communication No. 515 and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Claude S.
