TT <br /> COUNTY OF G * STATE OF 6 <br /> A�rf 4f NP,�P 3 <br /> '3 <br /> 'I <br /> 3 <br /> SOLUTION NO. 314 22 , <br /> A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORGANIZATION <br /> OF THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII BY AMENDING RULE NO. 2, <br /> MEETINGS AND RULE NO. 10,VOTING. <br /> WHEREAS, the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of <br /> Hawaii ("the Rules") govern the affairs of the Council of the County of Hawaii ("Council"); <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Rules were duly adopted as provided in Resolution No. 3-20 during the <br /> initial convening of the Council on December 7, 2020; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council finds that the Rules could be improved by amending Rule No. <br /> 2, Meetings and Rule No. 10, Voting to clarify proper meeting protocol when members <br /> participate via videoconferencing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the amendments to Rule No. 2-6, Videoconference Meetings and Rule No. <br /> 10-2, 10-3, and 10-4, Voting, as indicated in Ramseyer format(material to be deleted is <br /> bracketed and stricken,-material to be added is underscored) are attached as "Exhibit A" and <br /> incorporated herein by reference; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Rule No. 2-6 and Rule No. 10-2, 10-3, and 10-4 of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of <br /> the Council of the County of Hawaii are hereby amended as indicated in the attached "Exhibit <br /> A1l. <br />
