This equipment will <br /> replace four trailers that have reached the end of their useful lives and will be used to <br /> transport refuse from the East Hawaii transfer stations to the East Hawaii Regional Sort <br /> Station(EHRSS). The cost for the four Compacting Refuse Trailers will be <br /> approximately $17,500 per month for 60 months. <br /> The Department of Environmental Management requests that this resolution be waived <br /> from the Finance Committee and be placed on the February 23, 2022 Council agenda in <br /> order to expedite receipt of this equipment.
