Acquisition funding made <br /> possible with a State Le Legacy Land Grant of $1 .452 million and the Public Access, Open <br /> Space and Natural Resources Preservation Fund (FUND). To date, the County has acquired <br /> 8,408.80 acres consisting of approx. 3,694.44 acres in Conservation Easements and 4714.36 <br /> acres in fee simple, which will remain in open space protection in perpetuity. <br /> SUMMARY OF AUTHORIZED LAND ACQUISITIONS <br /> Through prior resolutions, the County Council has authorized the Finance Director to <br /> enter into land negotiations to acquire the most recent parcels with resolutions approved by <br /> the County Council for 2021 is summarized below: <br /> Resol.
