BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development(OHCD)has solicited projects for the Program Year 2021 HOME <br /> Investment Partnership Program(HOME). The OHCD selected to fund the below projects and has appropriated the funds <br /> to the projects. However, after the appropriation, the applicant decided not to accept the HOME Program funds: <br /> 1. COH-Tenant Based Rental Assist Program(TBRA); and <br /> 2. University Heights Home Reconstruction. <br /> Therefore, the OHCD is requesting to transfer the appropriated funds, of$2,325,000.00 HOME Program funds,to the <br /> Hale Na Koa 0 Hanakahi Independent Senior Housing Project, formally called the West Kawili Senior/Veteran's Housing <br /> Project.
