COUNTY OF HAWAII *� �''-" �• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ter.• .r .o.•'�` <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 33Z 22 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A <br /> LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR <br /> FOR A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH MARSHALL AND SWIFT <br /> FOR APPRAISAL SOFTWARE AND DATA <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10=11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a <br /> later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year <br /> agreement for five (5) years, for software license renewals and the use of Marshall <br /> and Swift data; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Finance, Real Property Tax Division relies on <br /> this data for the purpose of valuing real property in Hawaii County for ad valorem <br /> taxation purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, this specialized service is essential to the work performed by <br /> the Real Property Tax Division; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year <br /> agreement for the services as indicated above, for the Department <br /> of Finance. <br />
