110 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAIIHAWAIIISTATE OF HAWAPI <br /> '1TE OF•Fy,'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 344 22 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF <br /> TWO BLACK AND WHITE COPIERS FOR THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY CLERK, <br /> SUPPORT SERVICES DIVISION. <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease, or <br /> other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of <br /> more than one fiscal year shall be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a five-year lease agreement for <br /> two black and white copiers for the Office of the County Clerk, Support Services Division; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Support Services Division is responsible for providing reprographic <br /> services for all County departments and agencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, the lease for the current black and white copiers in the Support Services <br /> Division has expired and replacements are necessary due to the high volume of reprographic <br /> requests; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the County Clerk wishes to enter into a five-year lease <br /> agreement for approximately $3,170 per month for two black and white copiers, for an estimated <br /> savings of$380 compared to the previous lease; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five-year lease agreement for two black and white <br /> copiers for the Office of the County Clerk, Support Services Division. <br />
