REQUEST: <br /> We request to amend Ordinance 21-38, The 2021-2022 Operating Budget to increase the Budget in the <br /> Housing Fund as follows: <br /> 152.3609.11 Transfer from General Fund $6,500 <br /> 152.461.5466.56 Homeless Taskforce $6,500 <br /> We request to waive Finance Committee in order to expedite the appropriation of funds. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Concurrent resolution is in process to request funding from Clerk Council Services-Contingency Relief funds <br /> from Council District 6 to the Office of Housing and Community Development to provide a pass-through grant <br /> to the Homeless Task Force to assist with the establishment of the Weller House Transitional Housing <br /> Project, located in Ocean View. <br /> We are requesting these funds to be appropriated in the Housing Fund. <br /> Since there is a concurrent resolution to request funding transfer to the Office of Housing Fund, Res. 341 <br /> Draft 01, the OHCD would like to request a waiver from the Finance Committee and have this bill heard at <br /> the Council Meeting scheduled for April 6, 2022. <br /> SIGNED: DATE: 3 <br /> Department Head <br />
