I <br /> I <br /> PC-54 Page 2 March 22,2022 <br /> i <br /> (Department of Land and Natural Resources) and DOFAW{Division of Forestry and Wildlife} { <br /> requirements. { <br /> The owner addressed the Committee Members and explained his interest in reference to the <br /> estate and the intent to keep the land in the family allowing his niece and nephew to do what they j <br /> can with their portion of the property. <br /> Committee Member Inaba expressed his support based on the applicant's intent to settle the <br /> estate issues and with the application being straight forward. <br /> Committee Member Richards agreed with Mr. Inaba's sentiments. <br /> Committee Member Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder asked Mr Darrow of the Planning Department if <br /> the County has done RS-I5's before. Mr. Darrow responded with, not in the immediate area. It`s <br /> less than a half mile. There is a number of RS area zonded to the north and some to the south. <br /> He stated this lot is unique in size and is smaller than the minimun size required to be an <br /> agricultural lot. It was also stated that other lots in the area had `ohana dwellings on them. <br /> Mr. Darrow described areas zoned Urban in the area. <br /> Committee Chair Kierkiewicz voiced her support for the owners intention.
