Purpose and applicability. <br /> The RD ((louble-family residential) district provides for nioderate density ease <br /> characterized by the establishment of single or double-fan ily dwellings on each building <br /> site. It applies to areas with developed cominunity facilities. It inay occupy a <br /> transitional area between RS districts and those districts having a more. Intense Ilse of <br /> land. <br /> (1996, ord 96-160, sec 2-, ratified April 6, 1999.) <br /> 1 <br /> Section 25-5-21. Designation and density of RD districts. <br /> Each RD (double-family residential district) shall be designated on the zoning map <br /> by the symbol "RD" followed by the number "3.7 5" which requires that the minimum <br /> land area for each dwelling unit shall be three thousand seven hundred fifty square <br /> feet. <br /> (1996, ord 96-160, sec 2; ratified j)ril 6, 1999.) <br /> Section 25-5-22. Permitted cases. <br /> (a) The following uses shall be. permitted in the RD district= <br /> (1) Adult day care homes, <br /> (2) Bed and breakfast est ablishlzlents as permitted under section 25-4-7. <br /> (3) C'e,nleter'ies and mausoleums. as permitted under chapter 6, article I of this <br /> Lode. <br /> (4) Community buildings, as permit-ted under section 25-4-11. <br /> (5) Crop production. <br /> (6) Dwellings, double fazlIlT or duplex. <br /> (7) Dwellings, single-fainily. <br /> (8) Fainily child care homes. <br /> (9) (roup living facilities. <br /> (10) Home occupations, as permil ted under section 25-4-13. <br /> (11) Meeting facilities. <br /> (12) Model homes, as permitted under section 25-4-8. <br /> (13) Neighborhood parkas, playgrounds, tennis courts, s«=imining pools, and similar <br /> neighborhood recreational areas and uses. <br /> (14) Public uses and straduses, as permitter_) under,section 25-4-11. <br /> {1 5) Short-term wwaiion rentals situated in the general plan resort and resort node <br /> areas. <br /> (16) Tenilw ry real estate offices, as perniitted under section 25-4-8. <br /> (1.7) Utility substations, as permitted under section 25-4-11. <br /> (b) In addition to those ekes permitted under subsection (a) above, the following user <br /> may be per'tnitted in flie RD district., provided that. a use permit is issued for each <br /> use: <br /> (1) C'ar'e homes. <br /> (2) Churches, temples and synagogues. <br /> {3) C�l`E'Zn21to7"llinls, tunc?ral homes, funeral Sef�lces, and mol'tUal'IeS. <br /> (4) Dns care centers. <br /> SUPP. 6 (7-2019) 75-76 <br />
